This Recreational Reserve is located in Beiras, Arganil at the "Área de Paisagem Protegida da Serra do Açor".
This protected area is divided into two parts, the Mata da Margaraça Partial Nature Reserve and the Fraga da Pena Recreational Reserve. The Mata da Margaraça is one of the few remaining areas of natural vegetation on schist hillsides in central Portugal. The Fraga da Pena is a feature of considerable value for recreational and scientific purposes

Onde fica essa fraga? manda-me já um roteiro... o local é mesmo muito bonito e tu tiras-te uma foto excelente. Só me falta ouvir o som da água a cair. De resto é como se já estivesse na cascata. Gostei imenso da foto.

I never realised that Portugal was such a beautiful country. The splash at the bottom of the waterfall is great and I love the streak of white water on the right of the picture. Well taken!
