Place :Monsanto, it is a Historical Village of Portugal.
Region: Municipality- Idanha-a-Nova / Parish-Monsanto (zone center of Portugal).

Theme: 4rd of the series, Monsanto rock strength

Taken on a rainy day…
As the title says “Monsanto rock strength”, this great photo show us that.
The houses are build only with granite stone, a local and natural resource.
Monsanto, between gigantic boulders, it’s a stunning sight.

I hope you guys like it.

* If your target is not our extraordinary beaches, you must visit our Historic Villages, for sure, you’ll not loose your precious time. There, you’ll find a sort of beauty natural stuff. All in all impossible to see in any other place in the world.

Olá Filipe,
Mais uma fabulosa para juntar à tua galeria impressionante de Monsanto. Aproveitaste de forma genial a luz e o céu de trovoada que combina tão bem com a 'atmosfera visual' de outros tempos do lugar. Belas cores, belas texturas, bela compo, controlo de luz admirável.
Só lhe noto um pormenor quiçá menos bem: a menor nitidez, e aspecto estranho do candeeiro e da zona junto a ele.

Très intéressante photo de cette vieille maison construite avec de la pierre de granit. La mousse sur le devant de la maison, le parterre et les roches en dit long. La grosse roche est impressionnante. Les tons de vert s'harmonisent parfaitement avec le gris et le bleu des portes.

One of the more intriguing places I have seen in a long while .. the big mossy stone is just striking .. especially with this light and sky .. the way the old buildings interact with it is wonderful ... very nice.

Novamente, Monsanto. Das aldeias históricas dessa zona só conheço a Sortelha, por enquanto!!! Mas atrvéz das tuas fotos fico com uma ideia muito boa do bonito que deve ser a região. O rochedo enorme coberto de musgo e a casa a ele encostada são maravilhosos. E aquela cruz, também. Só é pena que as pessoas que fazem determinadas coisas não tenham sentido algum de estética. Por exemplo, aquele tubo ali espetado. Não o podiam ter colocado o cabo noutro sítio menos visível? Já o candeeiro não me perturba, apesar de ser um pouco moderno para a aldeia.
Gosto da foto mas parece-me que tem umas zonas um pouco sobre-expostas.

Mossy, huge rock is very attractive in your scene with cross and the facade that adds life there. Cobblestone path, next rock formation and especially cloudy sky is wonderful. An excellent, colorful capture, congratulations.

Bonjour Filipe,
Une belle image bien traitée. Peut-être que tu aurais pu redresser la porte pour qu'elle soit parallèle au bord de l'image ? Le sentier en grès se confond un peu avec le rocher à l'arrière plan. J'aime quand même bien ton image.

que bela foto essa, gostei da casa de pedra e da própria rocha cobertas pelo lodo , significa que a região é livre de poluição. Esse POV ficou ótimo, belo trabalho.

Belle photo de cette rue avec ces rochers de toute beauté dont celui qui semble etre calé par la maison.
Belle rue pavée, jolies couleurs, bonne netteté de l' ensemble.
La croix est mise de façon ou il est moin évident de la remarquer, je ne l' ai vu que pendant la rédaction de ce mot.

Olá Filipe,
Realmente Monsanto é um daqueles locais que não se pode nem deve visitar sem máquina fotográfica, a avaliar pelas tuas fotos do local.
Mais uma vez aquela rocha enorme é personagem importante na foto em combinação com estas casinhas tipicas e magnificas desta zona do país.
O contraste entre os tons da pedra e do musgo é muito bonito e resulta numa bela combinação de cores.
Gosto ainda, desta luz pós tempestade filtrada pelas nuvens, para mim das melhores alturas para se fotografar, tal a qualidade e beleza da luz.
O único senão da tua foto é realmente o topo especialmente junto ao candeeiro, que stá muito estranho.

as fotos suas de Monsanto tem um tratamento de luz e cores que da uma atmosfera abismal de bela. Parece uma cena de outro mundo. A composicao com a cas, a cruz e a rocha supradimensional somente ajudam ainda mais a dar esta impressao de espanto.

Olá Filipe, mais uma bela adição a esta séria fantástica. À 1ª vista não parece ser tão espectacular como as outras, principalmente ao nível da qualidade da imagem, mas gosto bastante da composição e do ambiente resultante. Sem dúvida que mostra a magia de um lugar que não parece pertencer a este mundo. Parece que estamos a caminhar numa fábula...a luz está estranha a pedra enorme cheia de musgo, o céu cinzentão carregado. Gosto bastante.

This taken picture is exactly or I walk on this place, with a very good composition and nice perspective.

Buenas noches Filipe,
bajo este cielo amenazando, el lugar es magnífico. La cruz parece ser el último punto de protección de los almas antes de la puerta del Infierno como parece indicarlo las enormes rocas. Afortunadamente, no es el caso, el lugar es bien más bonito que peligroso. Bonita composición y magníficos colores.

Nunca estive em Monsanto e na zona de Idanha-a-Nova. Uma cunhada minha é dessa zona. Pela descrição confirma-se a construção com granito desta casa. A pedra é um pouco grande e é interessante onde a cruz está colocada. Neste tipo de casas já fiquei alojado em Piódão e em S. Miguel, casas do Frade. Boa foto. Cumprimentos. Domingos

Very nice to see this house backed by this huge rock, and the colors are breautifull, especially the green moss covering the rock and front of the house. The pavement of the path on the right is also well positionned.

já andei por toda a parte em pgtl e esta aldeia, tão próxima da terra dos meus velhos eu nunca visitei. Quem sabe logo.. Realmente, a força das rochas aqui é fantástica e o povo soube aproveitar bem as limitações impostas por elas. bela vista, inusitada. A cruz é magnífica e os verdes lindos. parece que houve qualquer problema com a luz mais acima, contudo, é uma bela imagem. Pov muito bom
