Photographer’s Note

Castello Branco is an interior city of Portugal and there are few water mirrors.

However, some rotundas in the city have beautiful lakes, with waterfall. This photo is of the Europe roundabout, "Rotunda Europa".

This lake is most beautiful because has different waterfalls and the very interesting lights effect.

Castelo Branco is situated in the center region, with about 31 200 inhabitants. It's center of one of the biggest Portuguese county, with area of 1 439,94 km² and 55 809 inhabitants, subdivided in 25 parishes. The city is limited to the north by the county of Fundão, to the east by Idanha-a-Nova, to the south by Spain, to the southwest by Vila Velha de Ródão and to the west by Proença-a-Nova and Oleiros.

it's such a extraordinary picture. Never seen a waterfall by night. The water lights are very important here to obtain this good photo.

Vivi muito tempo na Sertã e fui várias vezes a Castelo Branco. Mas tudo isto já foi há quase 40 anos!!! Gosto muito da tua foto, das cores, do efeito da luz e da baixa velocidade a mostrar o movimento da água. Numa palavra: LINDA!

You write that you like very much the red (similarly to me), but I see also, from you like all the scale of other colours . You use this in splendid pictures as even if this photo whether previous and many other, equally nice. In this picture pleases to me the dynamics of the water coming down from stone-cascades. The light play in this photo the main part.

That's great. The light, the graphism, the energy... That's well composed and the diagonal depth is ok. Interesting stone textures too.
