Hello John,
A sombre but appealing composition of this walled town. I like how the white tower stands out like a beacon under the darkened sky. Very good clarity.

Dag John,

Voor eerst mijn beste verjaardag wensen, ook komen deze enkele dagen te laat, ze komen uit mijn hart. Ja 67 jaar jong, maar we laten ons niet afzakken nietwaar, hoofd omhoog, borst vooruit, en zeker aan geen leeftijd denken, ook spreken de kleinkeren van opa.
De foto hier is wel zeer goed genomen, en met een zeer hoge kwaliteitswaarde, ook de samenstelling heeft u goed gezien, prachtig werk. Mocht er nog een feestje achterkomen geniet ervan. Bedankt voor het langs komen.

I am Portuguese but never been to Bragança. But I also have an excuse which is living on the other half of the world. Which “pousada” are you referring to? I like the POV, which captured a good part of the walled city. Well done.

zeer prachtig met die bewolkte hemel. Ziet er een klein stadje uit, maar de stadswallen zijn goed onderhouden.

There is lots of drama in the sky and the strong white of the buildings contrasts very well. Good capture from a high POV.

Zum Glück weiß ich jetzt ,daß Du Deutsch sprichst.
Tolles Foto und geniales Licht auf der Landschaft und auf der von der Stadtmauer schön eingerahmten Stadt.Glück gehabt mit einer Lücke in den Wolken.Toller Kontrast mit dem dunklen Himmel,der mich an das meeting in Belgien erinnert.

Le ciel est très menaçant et ressemble fort à celui qui est sous mes fenêtres en ce moment sauf que je n'ai,pas cette belle lumière sur ce village blanc accosté à ce château aux allures féodales. Bon boulot pour nos montrer cette jolie région.

The low light and dark setting works well here John - adding a fine contrast to the whilte buildings in the village. Also the clouded sky is very fine here as a background setting. Nice one..

Une jolie vue generale de la ville sous ces conditions orageuse, le rayon de lumiere associe au contraste des blancs ne rend la scenen que plus dramatique, sur mon ecran le rendu est assez soft, peut etre pourrais tu encore mettre un petit coup d'accentation.

I never knew there are towns with alld walls there. Good high viewpoint. And very interesting place. Although the sky is impressive I wish you'd zoomed a bit closer.

Le blanc de ces constructions est remarquablement mis en valeur par la densité de ce ciel menaçant.Les couleurs sont naturelles et l'exposition est bien calibrée.Le cliché dégage une certaine atmosphère.Du beau travail bien géré.

Une très belle ville fortifiée qui ne doit pas être inintéressante à visiter. Ce ciel menaçant accentue agréablement la blancheur des façades, bonnes couleurs naturelles. Belle réalisation, bien vu John.

inutile de te dire que ce ciel me plait beaucoup.
Le blanc des façades donne la lumière à la composition et attire l'oeil, tout comme cet imposant chateau.

Nach meinem wunderschönen Urlaub bin ich durch Deine Fotos spaziert und dieses gefällt mir besonders. Es hat eine wundervolle Stimmung, wahrscheinlich besonders durch die großartigen Lichtverhältnisse. Das Städtchen scheint ja wirklich wehrhaft gewesen zu sein. Quelle chance d'avoir une si belle vue depuis sa chambre;
le ciel dramatique agrémente parfaitement la vue, je me demande si ces monuents étaient illuminés la nuit.
