Hello Rui,

This is a great panoramic view of a beautiful town square. A very well planned perspective and composition. Light management is spectacular, produced very balanced and natural colors. I adored the play of golden sunlight on facades of side buildings. Great depth with superb sharpness and clarity. You really did a great job here. Thnaks for sharing. Regards,

Olá Rui,
Very beautiful architecture picture of this plaza in the European Capital of Culture, Guimarães.
Most part of the square is already in the shadow but the light of the setting sun brings a nice, warm glow at the upper part of the facades. This contrasts well with the blue sky.

Hello Rui - I love this, it has a classical look and reminds me of the painting the wealthy would commission on their "grand tours" of Europe. The crop is perfect for the subject, you have a good balance between the sky and buildings and the diagonal line is a strong compositional element. All this under warm low light, super! that´s excellent use of the wide-angle lens.It showh us how useful it is in such cityscapes.The view you privede us of this beautiful square is marvelous.Delightful architecture together with the last rays of sun illuminating the facades make a really nice composition.

Hi Rui!

Interesting! Did you know that we have an island here in the Philippines that is called Guimaras? What a coincidence! Well I won't be surprised as this country I live in was discovered by a Portuguese Explorer Ferdinand Magellan then later colonized by Spain. Anyway, I love the warm lighting in here, the shadows over the houses create a nice pattern over the illuminated facade which makes it more interesting. The architecture is really beautiful! Clear and sharp capture!

Hi Rui,

I have noticed that you are quite active in TE these days and that your skills have improved too. This is a really great composition and I think you light mangagement is excellent or post-editing? Whatever it is, it looks really great and very natural. Large shaded areas like this could easily become too dark in a photo. TFS and have nice weekend!
