Photographer’s Note
Braga is an historical city in the north of Portugal. there are many churches and the Antigo Paço Episcopal is a fine reminder of the past. the home of Portugal’s Bishops. known as the "Portuguese Rome" for its concentration of religious architecture. I recomend to visit:
Braga Cathedral (Sé de Braga, 12th-18th centuries): The most important historical monument of the city. Rich mix of architectural and artistic styles.
Populo Church (16th century): Neo-classical church.
Misericordia Church (Igreja da Misericórdia) A church, renaissance style.
Saint Paul Church in Braga (Igreja de São Paulo)
Saint Vicent Church (Igreja de São Vicente)
Carmo Church (Igreja do Carmo)
Congregados Church (Igreja dos Congregados)
