Photographer's Note

This statue rotates back to the Commercial Court of the city and faces the magnificent Palace of the Dukes of Bragance which is actually a large mansion dating from the fifteenth century. Built by Afonso for his residence. Its architecture is considered unique and it now houses a museum, collections of antique weapons, porcelain India, tapestries, painting etc etc..
I have not found information about the statue or avoided the vehicle that had the audacity to go while I took the photo .... :-)
