It's very frequent to find in POrtugal, mainly in the north region several counties (freguesias) with angel's names.
This a new (modern) church tower in (S Miguel o Anjo).
The tower has a image of

St. Michael the Archangel which I've uploaded to the WS

one of the principal angels; his name was the war-cry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against the enemy and his followers.

Olá Rui,
muito bom seu trabalho de eliminar os fios, não deu pra perceber nada. Parece ser interessante esse local, mas não entendi ele muito bem, parece uma torre de sina de Igreja bem moderna. As cores ficaram ótimas.

Hola Rui,
Singular campanario de esta iglesia. Me hubiera gustado ver el edificio del templo para ubicar mejor la torre. Excelente luz y colores con muy buenos detalles. Estupendo también el WS.

Gosto imenso deste tipo de composição, explorando as linhas e texturas das paisagens e também as cores. Esta está muito bem conseguida.

If this is part of a church, then I agree... It is modern!
The stairs are well used as lead-in, giving me no other choice than going up...

Hello Rui, I like your photos a lot and I think your notes are very useful - I know much more about Portugal from your photos..
