I did have uploaded this image in TE but following a mate suggestion, I cropped it in order to enhance this misty ambiance.

Yes, it reminds me at pictures of China or Japan :)
I don't remember the other picture but I think that your cropping did increase the foggy ambiance.

Look as under a sand-storm, Rui, where the tree's canopies just popped above surface.
Was a good idea to crop, and concetrate on a main subject.

A very good composition and a charming image. The trees tops emerging from the fog create a very graphical and artistic effect which reminds of Zen paintings.

what a dreamily scenery! Great the snapshot with the mist to be a just before to cover all the image.I like to see the upper parts of the trees, as outlined perfect against the whitenes of the scene.

Hi Rui,

Long time ...etc ...

I have been back on Trekearth for a few months and have started tracking down some of my old favourites.

A beautiful shot, with good cropping - the more horizontal approach to the shot works really well. My first thought was that it was somewhere in Brasil, rather than Portugal.
