Natural Swimming Pool
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
One of the largest wealth and also of the great beauties that exist in the "Barroso" it's the water that whole year gushes, it runs for the streets of the village, it floods the greens quagmires, it's stored, in mill puddles, small tanks, it moves mills and it falls of beautiful cascades: cascade of Pitões, cascade of Ferral, cascade of Cabril, cascade of Cela-Cavalos, cascade of Penedas, cascade of Covelães, cascade of the Slum, cascade of Fervidelas, etc..
In the middle of the Park of Gerês, in Rio Toco or in Cabril, in Fafião, for besides the crystalline waters, they are wells in the rocks that are authentic natural swimming pools in the bed of the river."

I like the composition with the rocks and the trees. The two girls give some scale to the water pool. The high vantage point gives this photo a voyeuristic feel. This looks like an interesting place, and your note was very informative.
