Hi TE friends

This is the new area of Aveiro downtown. In left side there is the famous Ria and in right side the modern open space Shopping Center

I hope you like it !

Aveiro is a delightful town in central Portugal, with around 60 thousand inhabitants.
This is an ancient town, that already existed even before the formation of the Portuguese nationality in the 12th century. The privileged geographic location, next to the Ria de Aveiro, the salt-pits (valuable for the conservation of foods), fishing and the maritime commerce, lead all over the centuries to the population fixation.

The privileged conditions of the population were bunged in the end of the 16th century, when the canal that links the ria to the ocean was closed, blocking the Port use and causing the waters stagnation. This last for about two centuries, leading to a big population decrease.
In the beginning of the 19th century the works orientated by the French Engineer Reinaldo Oudinot and by the Portuguese Engineer Luís Gomes de Carvalho, resolve the issue in only two months.

Ria de Aveiro is nowadays the result of the retreat of the sea, with the formation of coastal strips.

One of the Aveiro’s main highlight was the traditional Moliceiro Boat, an embarkation destined to the catch and transport of the “moliço” (an algae used as dung). Nowadays these boats are used for guided tours of the Ria, providing amazing leisure moments in a divine landscape.

it is a really lovely presentation from Aveiro.
The diagonal line formed with the balls on the pavement makes a good contribution to the composition,

un bellissimo cielo azzurro sta su questa piazza e sulla zona pedonale in cui oltre a creare una piacevole diagonale le sfere danno profondità allo scatto.
Mi piace anche la ricerca, riuscita, dei riflessi sulla facciata del palazzo.

Hi Aires,
Aveiro seems to be a lovely place, both in the old town and in that new part of the city with its shopping center situated in a pleasant environment designed with taste. The large alleys lined with trees allow for a nice and quiet walk while the low-arched bridges that span the canal give it a romantic atmosphere. The perspective is fantastic and the line of balls is an invitation to stroll along the paved streets. The colours are bright and the image is sharp. A nice picture to look at on a cloudy autumn day.

this game of spheres really works and creates a nice perspective, it almost seem to divide the pic into two parts, it's really interesting, apart from the beautiful colors and the nice sky.

The ball sculptures remind me of Silk Street in Suzhou, China. Nice use as a diagonal lead in line, with superb sharpness, colour, saturation, & framing. Tfs!

Embora ainda não tenha "voltado de vez", vou aproveitar um tempinho livre para escrever qq. coisinha.
Belas cores e compo! É algo espantoso como está tão vazio. Escolheste muito bem o POV, gosto do efeito de profundidade e dinamismo criado pelas bolas, que se juntam aos desenhos geométricos do empedrado para fortalecer imenso o grafismo.
