Again the Moliceiro boat ! I post this picture because there are the most famous architecture from Aveiro in background.

I hope you like it !

Known as the Venice of Portugal, Aveiro is surrounded by salt-flats, beaches and lagoons and dominated by the Central Canal running through town. Once a big sea port, Aveiro lies in a region of valleys cut by mountains and fertile lagoon plains.
The city of Aveiro is crossed by canals, which give it quite an individual character, and in the old quarter tourists can see the quaint whitewashed houses of the fishermen and visit, early in the morning, the Mercado do Peixe, an auction of the fish caught during the night. Of all the boats seen in the area, the moliceiro is the most elegant, being perfectly lined, painted with bright colours and with often ingenious and humorous decorations.
The fine beach of São Jacinto lies close to woodland and the São Jacinto Dunes Natural Reserve, with well preserved dunes and varied fauna and flora.

Inn background, you can see the Culture and Congress Center (CCCA) is a place deeply connected to the city. Its location, central, makes it a listed building and a landmark for visitors Aveiro. The modernity of the functions included in the beauty and tradition of the Old Factory Jeronymo Pereira de Campos make this building a great place for performing all kinds of events.

Pelo que posso observar, os moliceiros servem agora para passeios turísticos em Aveiro. Verdade?
Por incrível que pareça, nunca estive em Aveiro apesar de ter planeado várias vezes por lá passar.

This is a nice view of this water side town. Your composition is fine with the inclusion of the boat adding color and depth to the shot. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail. At first glance I thought this was from Venice!

Muitos bonitos os prédios ao fundo, cada um com sua bela arquitetura particular e única, riquíssima de detalhes, muito bem mostrados pela excelente nitidez de sua foto! Luminosidade, cores, profundidade, ponto de vista e composição estão muito bons também!

It really looks like Venice in Portugal. The view of the traditional boat and harmony of the vibrant colours are eye-catching. It's a pitty that, despite having been travelled to Porto for several times, haven't found any chance to visit Aveiro which is not far from the main road.

La verdad que viendo tu foto me pareció al principio que había sido tomada en Venecia pero al leer tu nota me doy cuenta que es en una ciudad en Aveiro.
Los colores y tu punto de vista están estupendos, me gustan mucho las lindas arquitecturas de las edificaciones, tu foto tiene muy buenos detalles y buen foco. Una excelente foto de la vida diaria en esa bella ciudad.

linda vista, as fachadas estão muito bonitas, ainda MAIS COM esta bela luz que realça bem suas cores e detalhes. O barco e o canal são muito interessantes de se ver aqui e as pessoas estão bem posicionadas em cena.lembro d euma noite em que dormi num quarto acima de uma taberna, passamos a noite inteira com ruídos e conversas que vinham lá de baixo.hahaha

The Moliceiro with its long shape and attractive colors is an eye catcher which is nicely presented with behind the traditional architecture under a fine blue sky.
