Photographer's Note
Regoufe, village parish of Covelo Paivó - Town of Arouca, is strongly marked by history (since pre-history, presence of tumuli, through the Visigoth and the name of the place names derived from these - Regoufe = King of Wolves and now Century . XX with the fever of "Black Gold" with mining installations). Situated in the Sierra de Arada, this village lives of pastoralism and agriculture, which provide the excellent cuisine of this place (the Sierra de Cabrito Arada roasted in the wood oven, Veal Arouquesa, sausages and smoked and dried soups). Rich in natural heritage is also due to the presence of the wolf and not only.
