2 – Baía D’Abra / Ponta de São Lourenço

This is truly a wilderness walk where we come face to face with an arid but beautiful landscape. Unique plants, such as the ice plant, and many other such unusual plants, exist only in this part of the island. The colours of the sea and the rocks are dazzling. Enjoy your picnic by a small dock and swim in the crystal clear waters of Atlantic before the return trip.
Please bring your sunglasses, suntan lotion, hat, bathing suit and extra water.
• Dif. Grade 3 – Moderate walk. • Walking time: 4 Hours. • Distance: 8 Km.

Olá Geof,

A great rugged scene. Nice composition showing good depth.this is beautiful picture. The deep blue of the ocean contrasts so nicely again st the different earthy hues of the cliff.

Hello Geof,

A beautiful rugged shore on the Atlantic. The variegated strata in the cliff wall reveals the age, the eons that the area has seen. Excellent colors, and what is extraordinary is that the photograph was shot just ten days ago, and not in the summer of fall. The colors are vivid, and resolution sharp.

You have taken the best vantage point for this shot. I am fascinated by the huge range of colours along the side of the cliff. You have rightly included those distance mountains as it allowed me to feel the great expanse of space.I also like the tonal qualities here. Well done!!
