[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Southern slopes, elevation of 750 meters, the highest Fern Tree Forest of the Azores Islands covers the peaks of Monte Escuro (Dark Mountain).
The cloud forest climate of this small (ca. 7 km2) area, with 3000+ mm yearly precipitation, is very similar to the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand at sea level (for example Westport).

----
Same meridian, sea level, 6 km away, precipitation of 700 mm, or less than 25 pct.

Hello Ilena.
A beautiful landscape in wide format.
A good perfect and depth of field, thank to the trees in foreground.
Well done.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Olá Ilena
Mais um lugar bem interessante, mas preferia que a foto fosse mais abrangente.
