Photographer’s Note

Sunset in "Ponta da Ferraria".
Ponta da Ferraria is place between Ponta Delgada and Mosteiros here in S. Miguel Island.
To reach it you have to take a rural road. The site has beautiful vulcanic stone path as you may see in future postings.

As usual, I stopped the car while I was descending to the sea level, so I could capture this momment before the sun hide.

I dedicate this sunset to Veronika becouse I belive she'll enjoy it as much as I do.:)

A pleasant mood in this nature scene, Joana. Good timing to catch the last light of the day before the sun would disappear behind the clouds and land. The low perspective through the foreground weeds is a good choice and the floral silhouettes provide a welcome graphical interest. Nice photo.

It is a very beautiful comp with good management of light and shadows..Good idea the contrast of the the dark foreground and the colourful background..Its sharpness and contrast is great too..Bravo!!
