Hi Fernando, I like the PoV in this picture. The sunlight through the cloud made a good highlight and contrast along the rolling hills and the coastline. A nice shot of the beautiful scenery.

Gosto muito de ver esta espectacular vista, já conhecida de posts anteriores, "entalada" entre a sombra escura e a paisagem em 1º plano escurecida por ela. Excelentes cores e equilíbrio da luminosidade. A atmosfera dada pela 'pesada' nuvem é de forte intensidade. Quase que diria que está a apanhar uma chuvada, ou em vias disso. Desta vez decidiu deixar o corrimão de fora e acho que fez muito bem. Parabéns por mais um excelente trabalho e muito obrigado pela partilha!

Wow - the mix of ligth and a very special landscape seen from a high viewpoint attracks my eyes - the hills i lower right corner becomes extra visuable at the border of sunlight - thanks Fernando for a very fine job and as usual great informative note.

Fernando I love the details and the upper and lower enquadrement in this photo. A lovely landscape capture when the sun shines through the clouds like this. I think the dark clouds above really add to the drama and create the dark shadows on the land as well. The scene is nicely balanced in this frame too. A very rewarding photo for viewing! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Fernando. I like how our eyes can follow the zigzags of the coastline. That's a bit of a shame about the clarity in the distance but that's beyond your control. tfs Fernando.

What a lot of detail to behold in this view. We can see the waves crashing and teh fields and buildings. Interesting how the dark clouds at the top are balanced by the shade at the bottom.

Excelente sinfonia de cores captada nesta excelente imagem aérea da Ilha de São Miguel.
Emobra faça referência às 4 Estaçoes de Vivaldi,...eu quando olho para esta imagem só me lembro do Adágio de ALbinoni...talvez pelo dramatismo das nuvens no cèu.
De qualquer forma é uma excelente imagem.

Tenho a certeza que Vivaldi se inspirou nos cenários paradisíacos das ilhas açorianas quando compôs a partitura das "Quatro Estações". Num relance, podemos encontrá-las todas nesta imagem deslumbrante que nos apresenta. Os contrastes fortes entre a luz e as sombras, o azul forte do mar, as núvens escuras que carregam o céu... uma imagem do Paraíso. Continue postando os postais ilustrados que registou nos Açores. I love this one, Fernando. You got great light and the color of the green is so beautiful, especially when there's sun on it. The line of the coast works well, and the white water of the waves is nice. The sky is nice and threatening.

Your notes are always so good and so very informative. And i love this shot...one of my favourites. I dont understand for the life of me as to where you were standing when you took this shot. On top of a mountain? I wish i can take some like this.
Very well shot with a great POV. Love theway the clouds hang on top providing a canopy for the entire landscape.
