Picture taken from the wharf in Ponta Delgada.
These are the leading sailers of the match taking place offward. The sky was covered by dark clouds but suddenly a hole was opened and the sunbeams made these light effects on the foreground, while it remained overcast in the background. These are the natural colors as scanned from film by PhotoCD.

I am thinking the scan quality here is not making the picture as it should be. There does not seem to be much contrast and i think you shot too much to the sun. Also, you have split the picture in half instead of thirds, a bad rule of comoposition to break
