Photographer's Note
This is a new return after some recent different post of this known Travelogue to Fayal and Horta Island at the nice Azores Archipel at the deep North Atlantic Ocean, that you can see in my left Info of this page.
This is a Picture taken near Horta Harbour and the Marina and this is a capture made by a small boat that makes the Tourist Voyages to the Pico deep Sea and dolphins views. Here I have a different axis view of Horta from a left 90 degrees of approach.
This shot is dedicated to you all and specially to the TE Members that like pictures taken with a boat in motion and beautiful surrounding nature.
You can see another shot boat navigating near this place and with direct Horta view in the same Axis view Here_1: Link and other in a 90-Dg right approach view with Horta in front Here_2: Link
Now, if You want to see the Local where I took this picture I give a Google Map with a reference CAMERA ICON here: Link
TECHNICAL Notes and Information: This was taken after one hour of Midday, the weather was good, the Sun was near my backwards and it was a few brighty moment. I only cropped a few at the lower and upper frame and corrected also with a little smell of Contrast.
ISO=80,Focal Lenght=27mm and PL linear Olympus Filter.
In my Photo Information YOU have a Travelogue of my voyage and complementary two WS-Workshops with the same boat taken one some seconds before and the other also some seconds after with the same Camera.
These beautiful Islands are located in the vast Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America. They are natural and preserved nature wonders that have Sailors, Solitaire person navigators and important world tourism and preserved Sportiv Game-Fishing with people linked to United States, Canada, Brazil, Europe and also naturally to Continental Portugal.
Thanks in advance and I hope you like this boat view of nature and approaching the Marina.
All the Best and TFS to you All.
Fernando

Hello Fernando,
BIen belle semaine à toi mon ami.
Daniel.

Olá Fernando,
The way you've exposed the boat makes us feel like we are travelling on it.
Well the rock it's amazing and such a blue and transparent sea. Gorgeous scene...love it :)

A beautifull sea, Fernando, you seem to bring the sun with you when you go out to take pictures. The cliff falling into the sea in oblic makes a good composition.
All the best,

Olá Fernando,
Wonderful light and color, especially the clouds and the turqoise sea. Amazing detail throughout, even to the green hillside in the distance. The diagonal of the rocks gives one a sense of peril. I agree with your excellent critiques above especially Sónia's "The way you've exposed the boat makes us feel like we are travelling on it. Well the rock it's amazing and such a blue and transparent sea. Gorgeous scene...love it :)

Filipe

Hi Fernando, A nice composition to show the diagonal shape fo the coastal line cut into the ocean. It is fun to see how you take the picture with a slice of the boat where you were. Good capture of the architecture on the slope. Nice contrast to see the coastal line between the blue water and blue sky.

The composition of this is quite nice, Fernando - the dropping rock face at the left and the foreground detail of the boat build a good V-shape that pulls the viewer's eye into the scene. The vivid colors on the bright summer day are well shown and portray a pleasant holiday feel. You need to watch out your sharpening as it looks a bit agressive on some parts of the photo, particularly on the rock that starts to show some weird pixellisation. Greetings from Japan.

Fernando, my friend...
This is one fine point of view, as you are approaching the town after a hopefully nice trip on the seas...
It is interesting to see these rugged cliffs from seaside, as we usually see images taken from land...
Here we get the feeling of being on board with you... Nice!
Greetings,

Well framed, & not so easy to do on a moving boat. I like the diagonal slope of the rocky headland, & repetition of the 2 lookouts & the green tree forming a trio. Wonderful color & sharpness. Obrigado!

Bom dia Fernando,
Ricardo

Hi Fernando, the mood of "boat approaching destination" has been well achieved. We see the harbour in the distance, we are tired and we already want to arrive. The boat seems to be very close to the beautiful falling cliffs. Excellent compo, we even get some nice reflections on the right. Congratulations and regards! Daniel

Excellent composition to include the boat in the foreground; it is a perfect lead-in to the scene. The triangular cliff on the left makes a perfect balance. I also like the WS photos but agree with your choice of main post.

Belo trabalho! Um abraço

Hi Fernando,
I really admired your ability to skillfully select and blend the seperate elements into a very pleasing whole. There is just the right amount of each - the sky, water, mountain and boat. The lighting is just superb and the clouds are most helpful. Congratulations!! Regards.
