Photographer’s Note

It was a cloudy and winday, we were on our way back of a nice walk when we met this old man coming in front of us. I just had time to get my camera ready and shoot. The result is not perfect I wanted to have more contrast with the nature behind but I didn't want to ask him to wait for me, it was nice from him to let me take a picture.
Next time, I will have ready...

This picture reminds me my Sicily many years ago when all the persons who worked in the fields had only donkeys as mean of transport. I still remember the long row of them coming home at dusk during my summer holidays. I'd crop a bit the left part to avoid the man in the center

Hello! Very effective use of the sepia tone here, doesn't fail in depict the ambience of the Ilha dos Açores. I'd have used a different composition (the subject more to the left) but I think this works very well too! Nice photo!
