Photographer’s Note
I took this shot at Auscwitz I. Auschwitz is a Holocaust concentration camp near the Polish town of Oswiecim.
Auschwitz I was a forced labour camp for Russian prisoners of war and Polish political prisoners. However towards the end of the Holocaust it started to recieve Jews and other 'inferior' groups. It is a lot smaller than Auschwitz II - Birkenau.
