Hi Kate, добро пожаловать к TE at last. Yes, well I think this really is a good compo, especially since you took it from a canoe. I think what makes it work is the way you can break it down into different blocks of tone, colour and texture in rather satisfying proportions. Imagine it reduced to a Mondrian.
