Photographer’s Note

Early morning 5:14 a.m. view from top of Trzy Korony Mount in Pieniny. On horizon Tatra Mountains (from left Slovak High Tatras and Bielanske Tatras) in distance about 30 kilometres from place where I photographed. Under fog over Dunajec river which you can see goes border, all above this milk river is terrain of Slovakia.

WOW... this is sooooo beutiful!! The soft colors the round shapes of the mountains and the mist at the valley. LOVELY. Great managing of light.

Maciej,
stupend light, colors. A moment that only people get to see and catch that are 100% dedicated to photography and see the need to get up VERY early to be at the right place at the right moment. I like that sort of dedication a lot and it pays out!!!

Milo po dlugiej przerwie odkrywać Twoja robote!:) Takiego czystego widoku na Tatry z Trzech Koron w zyciu nie mialem:)) Wybieram sie w weekend na dluzsze lazenie po Pieninach. Jawroki, Wysoka, Durbuszka i Szczawnica.. Licze na taka przejrzystość!:)

Hi, Maciej. The tones of green are very nice in your image. I like the progression from the plateau to the mountains and the nice patchwork of fields and forests. The mist hanging in the valley adds a nice contrast in the scene and marks the bend of the river very well. Excellent light and beautiful soft colours.

Hello Maciej,
the fog seems so dense!! I like how deep the picture is either in terms of depth of field, colors and depth in the landscape. Some say landscape photography is easy...you just get there and click. It's soooo wrong. It takes THE LIGHT! it takes lights management and it takes an eye for the composition. You have everything here.
Your early wake up paid off!!!

No, ja te¿ tak rano wstajê i co mi z tego wstawania, kiedy takich widoczków nawet i o 4 rano u mnie nie ma :). To ju¿ skoñczy³am marudziæ ;). Poza tym, zdjêcie bardzo ³adne - to co przedstawia, ¶wiat³o, kolory... Piêkne bardzo :).

marvelous landscape here,
you have made a very good composition a fine balance in the shot with good light and a fantastic atmosphere. I like it. I have just saw your archife for the first time and I must say I am imrpressed of the good photo's. Now you can see that trekearth with almost 70.000 members is much to big, good photojob here, have a nice evening and succes with Poland for the match.

It is a fine landscape and very well depicted from this elevated point of view!
Somewhat surprised to see the fog in the valley, but of course we have to give the sun a bit more time this early in the morning...
