[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Gorzow (German Landsberg) is a very beautiful city, the capital of Lubuskie province, on the Warta River.
The city is well known for its parks, hills, fin-du-siecle architecture, and the beautiful Gothic cathedral, which for four decades was a centre of anti-communism movement.
When the Polish communism collapsed the city grew, the new initiatives emerged, the old and outdated communistic factories were closed and the new shopping centres were opened.
What you can see on my picture is a new copula of the new shopping centre. Hard to believe? I agree, but I do not take a chance of any discussion with the city's mayor. He is a former communist party member... Enough... Will the beautiful city of Gorzow survive?
