Hello, Richard -
Poignant photo and timely - Firday is Holocaust memorial day. Good choice to use B&W, and the image is very strong. Your horizon is tilted, however.

Hi Richard,
Super POV. Good contrasting details and atmospheric lighting. What I am not that keen on is the colour of your frame...

Hi Richard,
great thought with the railways and their sense of depth.. it goes on... your choice of B&W is very effective.. and the intensive clouds in the sky look great too!
Congrats,

An absolutely perfect shot.
A shot that gives for some reasons the feeling that something goes on and it's not just a shot from railways.
Excellent choice the low corner shot gives a very good perspective to the composition.
The cloudy sky and the light, increase the atmospheric of the situation.
Congratulations

Hello Richard
Terrible place,if we take a look back.
I would prefer to read something else in your note, not the technical details, not that I can`t google if I want to know more things that were happened there, you visit a place with a reason,to know more about it(in this case,to let to know to other people visually and reading the notes with the experience you lived visiting such place).
If you wouldn`t mention in your note that the picture was taken inside the concentration camp,I wouldn`t notice that.
I am speaking from my point of view and hope my comment will not bother too much.
The picture itself has a little bit of the drama of this place, the low point of view, the dramatic sky,the railways getting who knows where, barbed wired fences and of course the choice for a black and white.
Thank you and kind regards

Hello Richard
A sad souvenir of The Diktator but a brilliant point of view for great impact.
Cheers.

hi richard
this is magical. i like your idea of such a low POV. i guess you must have alomst laid on the tracks and clicked your camera. the black and white composition is perfect. great sharpness and dramatic clouds. good work done...

Richard, this is a great view of this terrible place, it is powerful both because of the B&W presentation and the low angle. Well designed and executed.

A very dramatic photo, Richard. Your POV makes the tracks seem to head into empty space, into oblivion, like the people the trains once carried in. Great job with the B/W tones--the glare off the tracks brings the eye right to them. Regards, Ken.
