[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Upper Gate (High Gate) in the Old Town was built in XIV century. On 2 April 2006 - the first anniversary of the pope John Paul II's death - on the wall of the gate bronze memorial plaque had been placed. Underneath, people leave candles and flowers, mostly on the occasions like pope's death anniversary or His birthday. Someone decided to display one's gift like this.

W pierwszą rocznicę śmierci Jana Pawła II na ścianie XIV-wiecznej Wysokiej Bramy umieszczono spiżową głowę papieża, pod którą 2 kwietnia pojawiają się znicze i kwiaty. A ktoś umieścił swój podarunek właśnie tak.
