| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Polish] |
On the left - the highest tower (83 m.) of the neo-gothic Sacred Heart of Jesus church (Roman Katholic), built 1901-1902. Polish name: kościół Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa. Because of the vivid colours, it always reminded me of some fairy-tale castle or Lego-building ;-)
On the right - figure of the Jesus Christ carrying the Globe. Created in 1737 to commemorate the 1709-1710 plague. Originally it was located among the graves at the cemetary (which exists no more), but had been moved in 1949 to its present location near the church.
Few words about the shooting conditions:
Jesus' figure was in the shadow. These blurred dots on the sky are birds. The day was sunny, but the use of the filter resulted in much longer exposure and the birds seem to be in a hurry... I'm rather fond of this effect. |

Czolem Asiulus!
Piekny kadr, rewelacyjny POV. Swietna kompozycja. A to UFO na niebie to tak naprawde co, to faktycznie ptaki?
Ladne barwy. Dobre zdjecie.
Pozdrawiam!
Hello Joanna,
A very decorative composition of the two tall structures pointing diagonally into the picture on converging lines, one sunlit and one in the shade. The blue sky with the blurred birds is a perfect background.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Joana.
A good idea, a very nice colours. But what a pity - the sculpture (a right arm firstly)owning to the perspective (view angle) is distorbed.
Have a nice day,
Martin
