Hello George,
I can underestand your feeling there,you had a special atmosphere and I see it well in the shot.
but about the photo please notice about a few things :
- the horizon line of the sea is not straight(it's tilted),this could be level and this is not good in photography.
-most of photographers avoid the white sky,I have not problem with it but here don't works well for the photo.
-the view is very busy,you must managed the elements in front of camera with finding a good angle and good point of view and then create a good composition .
