Photographer’s Note
The so-called Wry Forest is located in Nowe Czarnowo near Gryfino. On the area of ca. 1 ha there are about 400 pines growing, which are 75-80 years old. Their unnaturally bent stems are a puzzle. The prevalent guess is it's man's work: the stems were formed in such a way that they're suitable for manufacturing flexible furniture (chairs, armchairs).
