Good shot Giuseppe;
You've chosen a good POV in light of the poinent historical subject matter. These railroad tracks play such a vial role to the scene. Good composition, but I'm undecided if the selective colorisation is really necessary in such a scene.
Overall, I think the image is very well thought out and well taken.
Lest, we never forget...

I agree with Dan here. The scene is powerful enough without the selective colouring. The composition and detail are excellent, the B&W perfect. The colourized items almost a distraction. But perhaps some personal reasons, so I make no comment. Europe,and the world should never forget. Good work.

Ciao Giuseppe ,
foto drammatica ottimo l'uso del colore e del bianco e nero , vengono i brividi a pensare l'angoscia delle persone che hanno percorso questo tratto di ferrovia , per un viaggio senza ritorno .
ottimo lavoro per non dimenticare.

A very impressive photograph from Birkenau...
I lost some persons from my family there....
My grand-mother became from Auschwitz, very sick...
And I worked for a documentary film about this camp in 1991...
Very good documentary shot...very touching.
Best regards, Grazyna.

very well captured shot from a cleverly chosen pov. The vertical format is excellent, 'cause adds depth and let you included also the few but significant things in the fg., which are greatly put in relief, leaving them colored. The b/w format was for sure the best choice, 'cause makes it dramatic, as it has to be.
Well done! Tfs and best regards.
