| this is the part of the old market square in the city of Poznan, where (among the others)the matches of the Euro 2012 are going to be played. on the left you can see old pillory where in the old times criminals were publicly whipped.on the left there is a small fountain. the old market is a quite small one in comparison to that (for example) in Cracov, but features a Renessaince Town Hall (not visible in the picture) and lots of interesting monuments. highly reccommend! |
