Exactly - 11 pictures from the top of Szpiglasowy Wierch (2172 m ASL), scenic peak situated in the main ridge of Tatras, offering entire circular vistas.
Here a view towards West and North - from the Western Tatras with the Bystra (far left) and Czerwone Wierchy, through the Swinica and Kozi Wierch (two highest peaks in the middle, to the Skrajny Woloszyn (far right). Below the summit - the Valley of Five Polish Tarns, and all five are here visible. From the right: Przedni, Maly, Wielki, Czarny and Zadni Staw Polski.

Very nice panorama :) A lot of details in this picture, specially the largest one. The colors are excellent, and I really like the different axes of the view (valleys on the right and on the left).
Best regards, Laurent.

Imponująca panorama. Zadałeś sobie sporo trudu, ale opłaciło się. Tatry jak na dłoni. Robi wrażenie.

Hello Mateusz. The Tatras may not be very high but they are beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking. The alpine lakes and the rugged peak create such an interesting landscape. Good panoramic view of this setting. Thanks :-)

I can just tell "wow" - some panoramas are just too much descriptive, but this is definitely not the case of this one. Nice composition, even the darker part of the sky is emphasizing the central massive. Seamless stitching. Excellent result.

Hello Mat -
Well done, bravo! Your stitched panorama really worked, there is almost a seamless look to the image. The only thing I see and almost not worth mentioning is the darking of sky in the center portion of the image. Bravo!
Thank you for sharing.

Ciekawie przedstawiona panorama, wszystko ostre i doswietlone. W dodatku chmurki sie wyrozniaja.
Troszke brakuje tylko jakiegos szczegoliku dajacego poczucie skali...

Fot your first attempt to load a large picture, it is a success. You picture has such a high definition and the landscape is just at the perfect exposure.
Please krrp on posting such panoramics, it is a pleasure for us !
Have a nice evening,
Best regards, Christian

An impressive and well stitched pano, the mentioned differences in the sky are imho not important enough to spoil the general impression, the view is splendid, the mountain shapes dynamic and I like the opening to the right that ends on the lake, a pleasant and refreshing view, even better large.
Have a nice day,

A nice image with a good point of view down to the lake.
A good first attempt I would say ;o)

Fantastic view Mateusz. Dobry bardzo! I am of Polish descent myself and I have heard a lot about the beauty of these Tatra mountains (I believe some relatives of mine once had a farm there) and one day I will see the place myself.
The blue colours of the tarns are very vivid, almost translucent - did you use any filters?
luisafonso (862) 2007-04-27 3:27
Eleven you say! The stitch is perfect Mateusz. And I know it isn't that easy to maintain such a coherence in the light captured. The large version is really impressive. Details are awesome and the exposure perfect. Love your composition with that lake and the foreground mountain slope in the right place. An incredible photograph.

Very well done for the assembly of the panoramic view, no border effects are visible. Moreover, the composition of this picture is well equilibrated with the lakes and the valleys. I was not knowing there is such kind of landscapes in Poland. As european guy, I will have to get more knowledges.
Could you describe how to put large version of panorama photo, I never found how to proceed.
ktanska (29017) 2007-04-27 7:40
A beautiful panorama. Landforms are clearly visible. Sky with those clouds is optimal. And lakes are so blue. Somehow this gives an impression of a more southern country.
capthaddock (28790) 2007-04-27 12:39
Hi Mat - for a first attempt this is already a masterpiece, the stitching is so good it's impossible to detect the overlaps, and what a atunning scenery, along with a good sky, if I had to be super picky and critical, I would say this would be even better with some snow on the peaks.
vincent24 (9060) 2007-04-27 18:08
A great work here Mat...perfectly stiched and an harmonious composition, rich colors and many details everywhere...the air seems very pure at this height ;-)
have a nice week end,

For a first try, this is really excellent! The stitching work is invisible and looking at the large version, I really get the impression that I'm there myself. The landscape is beautiful and those different mountain lakes add a nice blue touch her e and there. Congratulations for this first large post!

There is one thing I don't understand: are there eleven pictures stiched together? Did you use a tripod to get such a perfect stitch?
Anyway, excellent sharpness, maybe even a bit to strong, but necessary, given the high amount of details to be seen. I have a strange feeling of "flatness", it resembels me those artistic views used for ski slopes plans, where the perspective is not always perfect. My eye gets caught by the lake on the right in contrast with the half hidden central one, they appear to lie on different planes! Talking about exposure: it looks easy, but it is not, to get such a good contrast without clipping and with a good saturation.
Conclusion: very original shot!
PS the dark central sky is not a problem, the lateral clouds save you.
