Photographer’s Note
The luminated buildings are the office of the Bank of Export Development. Buildings in the shape of granaries built of glass, steel, and brick according to the design by Antoni Bulanda, an architect from Warsaw. They were put into use in 1999. In 2000 the building received a reward in the national contest 'Zycie w architekturze' ('Life in Architecture') for the best building designed and built between 1989 and 1999.
These buildings are one of the most recognized objects of Bydgoszcz, new "granaries" are a reference to the "old" granaries, a long-time sumbol of Bydgoszcz (seen deeper).
