Photographer’s Note
Gdynia is the most marine of Polish cities. One of the very few where the harbour is literally in the city centre. 10 Lutego street at its end turns into the Southern Pier from where the picture was taken. It's one of the very moments of ship's departure. This time it wasn't a very big ship, but it was impressing anyway.
hope you like it.
cheers

Hello Kris
I live near a big City port too, Liverpool. It is always striking to see such large ships, and it is difficult to catch that awe in a photograph. I would have maybe cropped above the bottom swan, and zoomed a little on the ship, just an opinion. The wooden water break leads the eye well though, and the harbour wall and lighthouse all makes a good frame and composition. Thanks for sharing.

Kris,
Nice and interesting contrast you show in this shot. The composition, whit the ship and the geese are great.

hello kris
Usually ports are not in the middle of city but somehere on the borders ; good to see a contradicting example . also two different sorts of birds, the lighthouse and impressing view of sky have contributed well to your photo
