Bialystok, my hometown, a city of about 300.000 people, the largest city in north-eastern Poland, near the border with Belarus. a scene from a market on Jurowiecka street.

Hi Maciej,

I'm sorry...this does not really do anything for me... Besides that pink balloon and the nicely spaced out people, I don't really get what I ought to be looking at... Am I missing something???

I can't agree with kajspice Maciej,
wonderful placing of people in composition, great colours, and what is most important - it reminds me my hometown. i'm waiting for some more photos of yours from bialystok,

I love the way how you placed the trio across the frame. They give balance and depth to the compo. Emotionally, the guy in the right – he really seems angry - contrasts well with the peaceful attitude of the balloon boy. The way the livid man holds both sides of his coat is very striking. Look he is flying towards you. Very dramatic indeed! Don’t know why, but the red shiny van and the leaving man give a needed rest to this troubled scene. A very good shot, in my opinion!

Bardzo fajne. Lubie uliczne zdjecia, a to mi sie podoba, bo z daleka widac taki codzienny, polski klimat. Pozdrawiam.

YOu and RAdek both in the old country at the same time, eh? Love your timing here, MAciej. Yuo SAW the frustrated, angry looking guy coming your way, the one in the middle walking away and the balloon boy anchoring the shot.

Comme quoi meme les meilleurs photographes peuvent se rater ;) Excuse moi maciek mais avec tout le respect que je te dois cette photo n'est vraiment pas fameuse :(
Tu es un des tous meilleurs sur ce site et tu as sans doute livré parmis les plus belles photos présentes sur TE, surtout depuis le retrait de Simon. Mais alors là, a part le mec avec sa tete qui m'a arraché un bon rire, y a rien ici

I have to echo Kaj's comment I think Maciek. Perhaps if the modern and mundane cars and stuff weren't in the background, this shot would be more effective, but as ti stands I hope for more from you.

Spoko fotka maciek, fajny moment i mina goscia. Balon i cala reszta tworzy spoko kompozycje i co bylo najtrudniejsze chyba tam to bycie niewidocznym a tobie jak widac to sie udalo a przeciez polacy sa bardzo spostrzegawczy, ciebie jednak czasami niewidzieli z pozytkiem dla zdjec "naturalnych" co widac na zalaczonym obrazku.
