Here I am in Poland!

My friends and I were walking around Krakow one evening when we saw this huge map of the world on the ground. Lots of people (mostly children) were running around on the map, which was a little slippery because it was wet from a gentle rain that was falling.

So my friends and I took off our shoes and ran onto the map like the kids! We stood in the United States and then traveled across the ocean to Poland. Then we took little mini-trips to all the other places we had always wanted to visit. If only it were really that easy to travel around the world!

In this picture you see my feet (looking a bit worn from all the walking) standing right between Warsaw and Krakow, the two cities that I spent the most time in while I was visiting Poland. I wanted to just stand on Krakow, but it was way too small!

Hi Erin,
I like Your idea :) This is very symbolic travelling through my country and I'm living just near to your small finger on the left feet (Warsaw). It's interesting picture showing us different proportions :)
I'm waiting for Your next shots from Poland,
keep smiling,
maki

Hi Erin,

Good idea and nice composition. Just sad that the right part of the photo is too light but I suppose it's due to the the wet condition the number of people who everyday travel all around the world when walking on it.

Cheers

Tony

Hi Erin
First I thought that you just made a photo of a map. Then I read your note and I liked the idea. And then I wanted to see the map. Do you have a photo of how it looks likes like, how big it is, what is the location and what is the surrounding?
Cheers
Roman
