[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I enjoyed kerribar's image today, and it made me think of this one.

Outside, this Christmas, it was well below freezing, the snow was swirling in the darkness beyond the window, the whisky was poured, and the children were dreaming.

I really like what you did here, Greg-san, from a purely graphic standpoint it works very well indeed - the hand, let's face it, is in the right place somehow against this sea of grey. A cool image, and yes, linked to Izzet' masterful Thai one.
All the best,
Francis

So simple and so evocative... the child's hand, so gentle... wonderful work, beautifully seen, Greg! A lovely shot.
And it is well related to the hands of Izzet's photo.
Bravo!

your note is short yet it says about the wearther at that night, the habits of your group. and the kidīs hand among the blankets is pure elegance.

Hi Greg,

I kind of got the feeling you described in your note, though for me, I would perhaps have used a very subtle colour filter to emphasise the warmth...

Those layers of blanket give the desired effect...
