| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Wieliczka , 15km southwest of Cracow is famous for its Salt Mine which is included on Unesco's World Heritage List.
The highligh of a mine visit is the richly ornamented Chapel Of the Blessed Kinga ,which is actually a church measuring 54m by 17m and is 12m high.Construction of this underground temple took more than 30 years (1895 - 1927) ,resulting in the removal of 20.000 tones of rock salt! |

Finaly the return of nick the greek,
i haven't seen a photo of yours for a long time, Very nice sharpness, the few colors look great the hole scenery gives you a magical feeling
Very good exposure, Nick, in difficult lighting conditions. I assume you must have used a tripod for this. (if not, you have a very steady hand!). This salt mine is one of the most amazing places that I have been in the world, but it was many years ago since I was there, and all my transparencies have faded. So thanks for posting this as I'd almost forgotten what it looked like. Cheers . . . David
