Very good photo. The flower looks the a sattelite dish targeted towards the sattelite.

hi Bernarda, this is an innovative composition ... very soft in color ... did you take only one photo or tried other different angles? ... i would have liked an angle where the sunset rays are pouring through the flower petals ... would have given a blurred contour of the setting sun ... nevertheless, the composition is beautiful ...

A truly beautiful macro which also incorporates the soothing colours of a sunset without belabouring the sunset cliche. The central composition works well. I particularly like the way the fuzzy bits of the seedhead capture the light and pull it down into the bottom half of the photo, obscuring the horizon line. A very beautiful capture, congratulations.
