Photographer’s Note

Leaving the Czech Republic (for a moment)and today I'm starting new serie called "...no sensation to compare..." (taken from Pink Floyd's "Learning to fly").

Last weekend I decided to visit my hometown's region -part of Beskidy Mountains in the vicinity of Bielsko-Biala. One of the most picturesque places of this area is Zar peak (I think, I can translate it as "Glow peak"), 712 m above sea level, hovering above Zywieckie Lake and Porabka dam.

There is gliders' and paragliders' school just below the Zar peak. It is well known as a place of good flying conditions.

This young aviator is just waiting for radio signal secured on his helmet. He is ready for a run down the peak and to bounce... But this day seemed to be windless...
