Collegiate Church of the Holy Cross and St. Bartholomew is a Gothic church, the first two-storey church in Silesia, built in 1295.
The church is richly decorated with stone gargoyles, chimeras, demons, monsters at its roof. Among the figures I found this stone head, it is also described as a chimera decoration.

An amusing detail from this building. A well cropped picture with good colour harmony. A fine observation.

I love these little characters that are on the walls of churches. They add so much interest and charm to the walls and this one is just delightful. Captured perfectly. Love it!
Have a great Sunday - B.
