Town hall in Trzebnica seen through the gate of a tenement house.
Trzebnica is a town in Lower Silesia in south-western Poland. The town lies within the eastern Trzebnickie Hills, 20 kilometres north of the regional capital Wroclaw. There were found the oldest remains of prehistoric man in Poland, half a million years old.
The town is a place of St. Hedwig's worship who died there and was buried in the church of the Cistercian Order. To the tomb of St. Hedwig come every year a lot of pilgrims.
In Trzebnica there also is a famous hospital where are done limb transplant operations.
