Photographer's Note

Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most beautiful Polish cities. It is the fourth most populous city in Poland - over 600 thousand. residents, and the fifth in terms of area - 293 km ². It is situated in Lower Silesia, on the Oder River with its many tributaries and canals, is a unique city of 12 islands and more than a hundred bridges. The earliest mention of the existence of Wroclaw dates back to the year 1000, then was founded a bishopric in the Lower Silesia, but 150 years earlier already settled here Slavic tribes in larger settlements. The most important and oldest district of the city is the Cathedral Island, which you can see in the picture.
