The old town still is Elbl±g in the reconstruction.

"Restoration of the Old Town began after 1989. Since the beginning of the restoration, an extensive archaeological programme has been carried out. Most of the city's heritage was destroyed during the construction of basements in the 19th century or during World War II, but the backyards and latrines of the houses were not changed and provide information on the city's history. On some occasions the private investors incorporated parts of preserved stonework into new architecture. Approximately 75% of the Old Town has been reconstructed as of 2006. The city museum presents many pieces of art and utilities of everyday use, including the only 15th century binoculars preserved in Europe." (Wikipedia)

Classic Poland!
I absolutely love this style of architecture and how they run side by side in a continuous row :)
The high contrast levels in the photo bring out the colors and the details very well.

Bonjour, cher Aleksander,
C'est bien de préserver le patrimoine architectural, surtout quand il bénéficie d'un charme évident. Témoin de notre passé, l'architecture typique doit garder ses racines.
Très bonne présentation générale avec ce ciel, qui embellit joliment l'ensemble.

si les façades sont belles et colorées, le ciel par contre me parait tout à fait irréel et même choquant. J'aurais cadré un peu plus bas pour éviter trop de ce ciel et aussi ne pas couper ces voitures en bas.
