Warsaw upon Vistula, a photo from Mazowieckie, East

Photographer's Note

I was thinking about capturing the panorama of Warsaw from the side of Vistula, as it is very beautiful view, but it proved a not easy task. During the day the light is not on a good direction. So seeing that the weather was fine, I went in the evening. Maybe I came too late. In spite of this I post the photo. I hope you will find it interesting anyway. Warsaw has a new Maria Sklodowska- Curie bridge, it is the tenth bridge on Vistula. But the TE-members, living in Warsaw or guests, very rarely go to the other "Praga" side of my city (And I live there).

obviously i DO find this view interesting.
As much as i love seeing the classic views we see, its always great to see new things and new point of view - and here you have found it!
I can see people have taken advantage of that wall to use it for graffiti!
love the orange light to the right, and the construction style of the buildings.
nice new view :)

penso anch'io che fosse un pò tardi per scattare questa foto, magari prima avresti tirato fuori più colori e contrasti maggiori. ma io penso altresì che in tutte le ore della giornata si debba e si possa riuscire a scattare belle foto, come in questo caso in cui a giovarsene e la bellissima e serena atmosfera.

Hello Malgorzata,
The light may have been slightly problematic but you handled it very well and captured some lovely colours. Orange sky and pink river and some very fine buildings. Especially on the right side, below the golden sky, the red roofs are crammed tightly together at different angles like in a medieval city, but of course this must be much newer.

Good sharpness & composition with wonderful sunset colours of orange in the sky, especially top right. The orange contrasts well against the blue shadows Excellent shadow details in the waterfront buildings. Have a nice weekend!

J'aime bien les couleurs un peu passées de l'image. On dirait presque une photo argentique . Le contre jour provoque cet effet et la netteté est grande malgré tout.

Doskonale rozumiem ten problem! Panoramę Starówki można zrobić jedynie przed południem i wówczas uzyskasz piękne światło oraz kolory.
Na Twoim zdjęcie uwagę przyciąga piękne złote niebo. Efekt jest czarujący!
