this is a great peek-a-boo shot.
the wet ground really steals the show, with its glimmering lights.
of course the well coloured buildings put on a show aswell.

Hello Aleksander,
The archway with its sombre tones makes a splendid frame for the lively and colourful background. I like very much the glistening pavements that draw the viewer into the scene towards the towered building. Pleasing colours and superb sharpness complete a very agreeable composition.

A well framed image using the foreground door and under which even the big tower fits, I like the wet pavement rising the luminous impression. Traces of your PP are visible around the tower

A fine and well framed view of the impressive spire of the city hall and the multi-coloured houses. The combination of sun with the shining wet pavement gives a particular charm and clarity.

Hello Aleksander,

A genuinely spectacular photograph of Gdansk, and a view I remember well from a visit in 1990. With the wet pavement, the brilliant sunlight following a rain, this is bound to become a classic. I will happily hang this beauty in my 'Gallery of Favorites.' Bravo and congratulations for creating a minor masterpiece.

You have used the arch to frame the shot nicely. The lighting and wet pavement creates a great scene. The vertical format is great emphasizing the height of the tower.

Superb cityscape full of life, of details, of colors. The arcade in the FG give a greta depht and too a very graphic framing. Superb coloured reflections too.

The wet pavement is a bonus to have the soft colored houses reflection. Moreover, the bow is a good frame for your picture. Good use of HDR.

Providential sun ray after the rain which gives a marvellous reflection of these coloured frontages on the ground. Superb photograph, luminous and of a perfect clearness accentuating this effect of relief of the image. The rain really washes everything clean, including the light. I really like your Gdansk series - this one has an almost impressionistic light, which flemish artists of almost any generation woulkd understand - presumably something about living on the North Sea/Baltic. wspaniala praca. Samo miejsce rewelacyjne ale tez mistrzowsko pokazane. Brama stanowi swietne oryginalne obramowanie. Ciekawe swiatlo i kolory a najbardziej podoba mi sie oczywiscie mokra posadzka ktora na dodatek bardzo wzmocniona jest obrobka i dlatego jest doskonale wyrazna od pierwszego planu az w nieskonczonosc. Te refleksy w chodniku ogromnie ozywiaja obraz. Na dodatek bardzo fajne niebo.
