Town Hall of Leczyca Photo

Photographer’s Note

The Town Hall in the city of Łęczyca. It was designed by the royal architect Jakub Kubicki and built in the years 1788-1790. Originally classicist in style, it lost some of its character when it was later rebuilt. The building stands in the middle of the town square, which was quite deserted but for a few drunks on the afternoon we visited the place.

Piekna okazuje sie Leczyca, coza wspanialy budynek ratusza i kamieniczki jakie ladne naokolo. Swietne kolory, dobra saturacja, dobra ostrosc. Bardzo to radosnie, wakacyjnie, ale dlaczego pusto, czyzby turysci, oprpcz Ciebie, do Leczycy nie zagladali?

Sprawdzilem w notce in formacyjnej o zdjeciu i twierdze, ze zegar na ratuszu dobrze chodzi, godzina sie zgadza. Wszystko sie tu zgadza zreszta, POV, ekspozycja i kompozycja, swiatlo i kolory, ostrosc tez. Jak sie domyslam, tak sobie szedles, wyjales aparat z torby i strzeliles te fotke, tak?

Well the drunks seem to be keeping a low profile, as they are not interfering in your photo ;D It seems to have been taken in the middle of the day, but there are no hard shadows to spoil the view. The colours, clarity and sharpness are all excellent, resulting in an image with perfect, clear lines.

Hello Mikolaj,

This is a well composed presentation with the Town Hall as an eye-catcher!
The fine light renders clear vivid colours, and I notice the fine pattern in the plaza...
Amazing to see something looking like a fir tree in the middle of the town, maybe it is a living Christmas tree!
