St.Charles of Zyrardow Photo

Photographer’s Note

Church of St. Charles Boromeo in the city of Zyrardow (Żyrardów). The church was built in the neo-Gothic style in 1891 and altered in 1895. It was the first Roman Catholic church in Zyrardow. The construction of the church was founded by Karl Dittrich (junior). The church organs were made by the Rieger Brothers.

Hello Mikolaj,
Another splendid church you have unearthed. Good point of view, though the signs on the left are a bit distracting. I like the red/blue/green tonal contrasts, which benefit from a nice ambient light. Very good sharpness.

Kosciol ekstra, ukryty w cieniu drzew. Reklama Radyja Maryja jak najbardziej na miejscu i zebrak pod kosciolem tez na swoim miejscu. Wszystko tak, jak byc powinno.

The neo-Gothic style gives a very nice importance.
You play very well with light and shadow.
Also a nice advertisement for the regional radio, almost every building are during WAR II damaged in Poland, this too?

Dobre sobie, Gosc Niedzielny i Radio Maryja rzadza. Swoja droga, cos okropnego taka reklama na plocie kosciola. Ale kosciol fajny, mnie sie podoba. Ktos sobie siedzie pod kosciolem, moze czeka na proboszcza, albo na koniec mszy i bedzie potem zbierac datki na Radio Ojca Dyrektora.

an unique and interesting composition is nice,
fore tree, cross and colorful flags and panels become good frame of the church,
and the design of church is excellent, then the orange color against the blue of sky is very vivid and lively,
the combination of arches, sharp towers, and round window is graceful.

Niby neogotyk nie rozpala wyobrazni, ale ten tutaj kosciol moze sie spodobac. Spokojna, skromna fotografia z dobrze wkomponowanym w kadr krzyzem.
