Photographer’s Note

The Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes (Zamek Książąt Pomorskich) in the city of Szczecin. Prince Barnim III built the first stone building on the castle hill in 1346. The south wing was constructed during the reign of Bogusław X. The east wing was built by his son Barnim XI. Both wings were changed to Renaissance style by Duke Jan-Frederik in 1575-77. At the same time north and west wings replaced the original brick buildings. The fifth wing, the Museum wing, was added by Duke Phillip II and Francis I between 1616-19. The castle was destroyed by bombs in the Second World War, but has been completely rebuilt.

A splendid capture of this wonderful building, incredibly sharp and very good light management.
Your POV suits the building perfectly and along with your vertical composition you've given us an excellent image.
I like the inclusion of the mother and child, they give us a clear indication as to the size of the tower.
A very good capture, superbly crafted.
I have been meaning to get to your gallery for some time, this is a wonderful introduction.

Wspaniala wysmukla wieza, a raczej dzwonnica. I sa ludziki w kadrze. Dobrze jest. Zwlaszcza, ze niebo wysokie i zachwycajace.

Nice shot of this great architecture. The vertical format is great here showing us the height of the scene with closeup detail. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and DOF.

Wszyscy się czepiają ludzików, to teraz wyczekujemy żeby weszli w kadr i grali, że niby to zainteresowani wieżą:)

Jak milo Cie widzieæ na dziedzincu naszego zamku! Ladnie rysuje sie wieza na tle nieba. Ciekawe kolory. Ta wieza jest widokowa, ale chyba jeszcze nie byla czynna.

a fantastic view of the big bell tower,
it is very clear and colors are shining.
from this POV, in my feeling, it looks like a tall frog with green crown, it is watching wide land with its protruding eyes...
arches in the shade of right wall are interesting.

cześć Mikołaju,

często sie zdarza, że jak czegos zabraknie to dopiero zaczynasz todoceniać. Tak jest z nowa strona Treka. na razie jak sie wpisze beta zamiast www, to ciągle jest stara wersja i jaka ona jest przyjemna w porównaniu z ta nową. Wszystko wydaje sie łatwe i logiczne.

Ciekawy obiekt. Szczecin to jedno z niewielu wiekszych miast w Polsce, w którym nigdy nie byłam. A widzę, ze warto. Ładne zdjecie.

Fajne, podoba sie, mieli byc ludzie i sa ludzie, no dobrze, ale przeciez czy musza byc ludzie, skoro nie ludzi fotografujesz tylko te wieze. No, ale skoro sa ludzie na zdjeciu, to niech beda.
