Photographer’s Note
Hello Trekkies,
Today shot taken in absolutely central point of my home town.
The Immaculate Conception Holy Mary’s Gothic cathedral church of the XIVth century – it is the oldest listed building in the city; it was erected within the period of 1300-1333. It represents the most common type of edifice seen in Pomerania – a basilica with elongated, three-sided chancel with stellar vault and a square, massive Pomeranian Gothic spire. The main altar of 1512 has 16 figures coming from the Gothic pantaptic, a XIVth century crucifix hangs on the rainbow beam in the chancel, stained glass in the chancel windows was made within the period of 1914-15. The Cathedral has a baroque-sound organ of 1899. The oldest Cathedral’s relic is the XIIIth century baptismal font located in the vestibule under the spire. Tombstones from the beginning of the XVIIth century can be seen in the vestibule walls.
At the foreground you also can see a statue of pope John Paul II, erected 1.06.1991 to commemorate his apostle visit in Koszalin. This granite statue is designed by sculptor Zbigniew Wujek.
Thank you for seeing!

Hello Chris,
My first thought was the statue is belongs to V.I. Lenin but recognized lately that its not ;)
Your scene is excellently build with amazing part of terracotta brick facade and dried trees. Its attractive colors eye catching and old textures perfectly continues all over scene while the statue of Pope John Paul II adding unbeatable value to your photograph. I liked him and have deepest respect of his humanity and tolerance every time. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.
Friendly Regards,

Hello Chris,

P.S. Notka uzupełniona.

Hej Doktorku, znowu mocny PP i troche ponure zdjecie mimo kwiatów pod pomnikiem. Piekna katedra i nawet pomnik nienajgorszy. Pozdrawiam
